This exclusive Air Jordan 11 pays homage to Derek Jeter and the legacy he has left not just with the Yankees, but with the entire MLB. The shoe comes with a all-suede upper done in a nice Navy Blue colorway. Adding more of a premium feel to the shoe is the debossed branding, Black leather laces and the White midsole and milky translucent outsole.
Virgil Abloh’s ten-part Nike collaboration has undoubtedly been one of the biggest streetwear stories of the year. Of the ten silhouettes reworked by the designer, one of the stand-out pieces has been his take on the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 coming in the Chicago colorway. The result fuses the signature features of the two designs: featuring the fragment Royal Blue colorway, adjusted Swoosh logo, quote marks, midsole and laces printed text and, obviously, the red tag from Abloh’s series of Nike sneakers and Off-White™ products.
This Air Jordan 3 is celebrated this year, and an old yet new special edition Air Jordan 3 Tinker NRG silhouette is one style that honors the line. With the shoe basically designed by Tinker Hatfield as one of his first sketch iterations of the AJ3, the shoe now comes to life featuring a mixture of the iconic white cement and black cement hues. Swoosh logos are the highlight on the sides, Nike Air branding on the heels, sketched graphic insoles and Tinker’s signature behind the tongues complete the design altogether.
The Air Jordan 5 Quai 54 features a White tumbled leather upper with Black inner liner and midsole, while Radiant Green accents hit the tongue and heel branding, lace system, Quai 54 embroidery and icy translucent outsole. Minor hints of Metallic Silver are found on the teeth detailing of the midsole.
The black colorways bearing OVO’s owl logo and signature metallic gold accents will be part of the festivities. The shoes also feature premium tumbled leather overlays and nubuck panels.
Using an appropriate red upper, “CN¥” marks both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe, cheekily using a Chinese Renminbi symbol as the “Y.” Created with high-caliber Italian leather, the Nike Air More Uptempo CNY also features a special thermal material used to create the “CN¥” which changes to a golden gradient when exposed to heat. China’s “Five Star” symbol has also been added to the back heels of each shoe for a final added patriotic touch.
The Air Jordan 1 Gatorade sneaker boasts a monochromatic look as it’s covered in the aforementioned “Lemon Lime” coloring with subtle nods which pay homage to Michael Jordan and Gatorade. Gatorade’s signature lightning bolt is placed on the lateral side of each heel in orange, which matches the sneaker’s tumbled leather tongue tab. Behind the tongue tabs you’ll find the phrase “Be Like Mike” as an extra touch in addition to the nostalgic Gatorade logo, which can be found under its translucent outsole.
